New York Rangers Place Goalie on Waivers
The New York Rangers have placed Louis Domingue on waivers.
The Blueshirts signed Domingue this offseason with the expectation that he would be their third goalie, so this waiver placement is not too surprising. Yet, given the 30-year-old's solid postseason play last spring, there could be a team willing to take a chance on him if they are dealing with injury trouble in the net or want more depth.
Domingue is primarily an AHL starting netminder at this point of his career, but he does carry a decent amount of experience in the sport's most competitive league, too. In 142 career games, the Quebec native sports a 59-60-10 record, 3.04 GAA, and .905 SV%.
