NHL Rumors: Coyotes Forward Garnering Trade Interest

The Arizona Coyotes are expected to be major sellers again this season, with players like Jakob Chychrun and Shane Gostisbehere already dominating the rumor mill. However, another Coyote who is already getting attention around the league as well is Nick Ritchie.

Since being traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs to Arizona last season, Ritchie has been on a complete and utter tear. After scoring 10 goals and recording 14 points in 24 contests with the team last campaign, he now has started this season with three goals and an assist in four games. Thus, as a Coyote, he has scored an impressive 13 goals in 27 games. A 6-foot-3 winger who can score and plays very physically? That will get attention around the league, naturally.

It will be intriguing to see where Ritchie ends the season, but it's clear that he is an early-season trade candidate given his hot stretch of play and pending UFA status.
