Philadelphia Flyers Call Up Forward
The Philadelphia Flyers have called up Jackson Cates to their NHL roster.
Cates is coming off of a season that saw him play 11 games with the Flyers, where he had a goal and a minus-2 rating. With the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, he had two goals and 10 points in 37 games. Now, the 25-year-old is getting the chance to join the NHL squad early and will be aiming to stick around from here.
Cates will now be playing with his brother, Noah. This is certainly a fun development for the Cates family, and it doesn't hurt that the pair played well together during the preseason. Perhaps that brotherly chemistry will result in more offense from the two of them from here.
