Pittsburgh Penguins Place Defenseman on Waivers

The Pittsburgh Penguins have made a cut from their training camp roster, as Taylor Fedun has been placed on waivers.

Fedun has not appeared in an NHL game since the 2019-20 season, so it isn't too surprising to see that he has been placed on the waiver wire. If he clears, the 34-year-old will continue to be a good leader for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to have around. In 44 games this past season for them, he had five goals to go along with 16 assists.

In 127 career NHL games, Fedun has eight goals, 27 assists, and 35 points.
