Predators Defenseman Stretchered Off Ice
After receiving a hit from Philadelphia Flyers forward Morgan Frost, Nashville Predators defenseman Mark Borowiecki was injured and taken off the ice on a stretcher.
It is always scary to see a player leave the ice in this fashion, but this is especially true when remembering Borowiecki's injury history. The 33-year-old has a history of concussions, and his head hit the boards hard from the hit.
The Predators announced that Borowiecki left Bridgestone Arena fully conscious and had movement in his extremities.
Here's to hoping that Borowiecki has a speedy recovery from here. It is always awful to see a player in this situation, so we here at NHLTR wish him nothing but the best.
