Rangers Forward Leaves Game With Injury
New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil left Sunday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets early due to an upper-body injury.
At the time of this writing, the severity of Chytil's injury has not been determined nor has an estimated recovery time been announced. That is likely to change as soon as Monday, and the Rangers will be hoping that the 23-year-old's injury is a very minor one.
Chytil has been off to a pretty solid start in 2022-23, as he has two goals and an assist in six games. The 2017 first-round pick is looking to finally have a breakout season for a strong Rangers club. In 67 games last season with the Blueshirts, he had eight goals and 22 points.
