Rangers Provide Update on Filip Chytil
After leaving Sunday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets early due to an injury, New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil will miss at least a week. As a result, he has been ruled out for the Blueshirts' next four contests.
This isn't ideal news for the Rangers, as they are now set to be without their third-line center during an important part of the season. The Rangers have started this campaign with a 3-2-1 record but are currently fourth in the Metropolitan Division.
Although losing a player for at least a week is never a good thing. Here's to hoping that Chytil can have a very speedy recovery and build off of a decent start to the season. In six games on the year, he currently has three points.
