Seattle Kraken Place 2 Players on Waivers

The Seattle Kraken have placed Joey Daccord and Alexander True on waivers.

With the Kraken signing Martin Jones and already having Philipp Grubauer, it seemed likely that Daccord would be the odd man out and placed on waivers. The North Andover native was excellent for the Charlotte Checkers last season, sporting a 2.28 GAA and .925 SV%. He also got into five games for the Kraken as well. Teams with weak goaltending depth could consider the prospect of claiming him.

True, on the other hand, is a 6-foot-5 center who just recorded 42 points in 60 games for the Checkers. With the Kraken, he appeared in eight contests, where he was held off the scoresheet. Teams in need of some insurance in their bottom six may take a look at True.
