Seattle Kraken Place Kole Lind & 9 Others on Waivers

The Seattle Kraken have made a series of cuts, as the following players have been placed on waivers: Kole Lind, Max McCormick, Jesper Froden, Cameron Hughes, Austin Poganski, Andrew Poturalski, Brogan Raffety, Carsen Twarynski, Gustav Olofsson, and Magnus Hellberg.

Lind is the most notable name of the bunch, as the 2017 second-round pick is viewed as having a decent amount of potential. The 22-year-old appeared in 23 games this past season with the Kraken, where he had two goals to go along with eight points.

As for the others, it isn't too surprising to see them on waivers. The majority if not all of them were expected to be heading to the AHL, but that of course requires them to hit the waiver wire.

Alas, we will need to wait and see if any of these players end up getting claimed from here.
