Senators Defenseman Injured

The Ottawa Senators will be without key defenseman Artem Zub for the next one to two weeks due to an upper-body injury. 

The Senators are dealing with an array of injuries and now Zub has been added to the unfortunate list. This is rough news for Ottawa, as they are off to a 4-3-0 start and are trying to compete for a playoff spot this season. However, early-season injuries to key players never help with that, and now they are without both Zub and of course Josh Norris. 

Zub has become one of Ottawa's best defensemen due to his stellar defensive play and solid offense from the point. In seven games this season, the 27-year-old has a goal and three points. Here's to hoping he suffers no setbacks in his recovery and can return to the ice in a week.
