Senators Forward Suffers Injury

Although the Ottawa Senators defeated the Arizona Coyotes by a 6-2 final score on Saturday, it came with a cost. Josh Norris left the game early with an injury.

Elliotte Friedman reported that Norris is set to have an MRI after his arm swells down. Given the 23-year-old's importance to the club, they will be hoping that this is simply a short-term injury and nothing serious. Keep in mind, this is a player who is coming off of a season that saw him score 35 goals and record 55 points in 66 contests.

We will have to keep an eye out for an update on Norris' condition. If Ottawa is to compete for a playoff spot this season, they certainly need the Michigan native around.
