St. Louis Blues Forward Placed on Waivers
The St. Louis Blues have placed Anthony Angello on waivers.
Angello had been dealing with inury trouble, so he hadn't been sent down to the AHL yet. However, this waiver placement shows that the 6-foot-5 center is ready to return to action. Before joining the Springfield Thunderbirds, he will need to clear waivers.
Angello has 31 games of NHL experience on his resume, all with the Pittsburgh Penguins. During those contests, he scored three goals and had two assists. It will be intriguing to see if the New York native clears waivers. Although it seems more likely than not that he will clear, we will have to see in 24 hours if that does come to fruition.
