St. Louis Blues Place 3 Forwards on Waivers
The St. Louis Blues have placed Klim Kostin, Martin Frk, and Matthew Highmore on waivers.
Out of the trio, Kostin stands out. The 2017 first-round pick played in 40 games with the Blues this season, where he had four goals and nine points. Although he has yet to develop into his first-round status, his size and versatility could get him some attention while on the waiver wire.
Frk, who is known for his wicked slapshot, got into six games this past season with the Los Angeles Kings, scoring two goals. At this juncture of his career, he is more known as an AHL scorer. In 58 games this past season with the Ontario Reign, he had a ridiculous 40 goals and 73 points.
Highmore is known as being a decent fourth-line player. In 46 games this past season with the Vancouver Canucks, he had five goals and 12 points.
