St. Louis Blues Release Forward from PTO
The St. Louis Blues have released Tyler Pitlick from his PTO.
Pitlick inked a PTO with St. Louis before training began in hopes of landing a contract for the season. Yet, it appears that the 30-year-old did not leave enough of an impression to get himself a new deal, so he will now have to look elsewhere for a home.
Pitlick is coming off of a down year that saw him score just one goal and record four assists in 39 games split between the Calgary Flames and Montreal Canadiens. Although it was a forgettable year for him, perhaps teams in need of some forward depth could give him a look. Until then, back to the open market, he goes.
