Tampa Bay Lightning Place Forward on Waivers
The Tampa Bay Lightning have placed Pierre-Cedric Labrie on waivers.
Labrie signed a two-way deal with the Lightning earlier this week. His placement on the waiver wire is not surprising at all, as he has not appeared in an NHL game since the 2013-14 season when he was a member of the Lightning. In 46 career NHL games, he has two goals, three assists, and 65 penalty minutes.
Assuming he clears waivers, Labrie will once again be joining the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL this season. In 56 games split between the Hartford Wolf Pack and Crunch last campaign, he had six goals to go along with 10 assists.
