Toronto Maple Leafs Place 2 Players on Waivers
The Toronto Maple Leafs have placed Joey Anderson and Mac Hollowell on waivers.
Plenty of forward depth is the primary reason why Anderson is hitting the waiver wire. The 24-year-old fell victim to this last season as well, as he only appeared in five games for the Leafs. During them, he did not record a point and sported an even rating. With the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, he scored a very solid 26 goals and added 16 assists in 56 contests.
Hollowell was also an effective part of the Marlies' roster in 2022-23. The 5-foot-9 defenseman scored five goals and recorded 26 points in 45 games. There could be some interest in his services around the league, as he is only 24 years old and may have some upside left.
