Vancouver Canucks Place 2 Players on Waivers
The Vancouver Canucks have placed Christian Wolanin and Sheldon Dries on waivers.
Wolanin played nine games this past season split between the Buffalo Sabres and Los Angeles Kings, where he had a goal and an assist. He also played in 37 games with the Ontario Reign and proved to be a solid contributor from the blueline. In 37 contests, he scored a goal and had 18 points.
Dries, on the other hand, played in 11 games for the Vancouver Canucks, scoring two goals and adding an assist. He was a very important player for the Abbotsford Canucks, however, as he had 35 goals to go along with 62 points.
