Vegas Golden Knights Forward Set to Return
While speaking with the media, Vegas Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy said that William Carrier could be good to go for Thursday's contest against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Carrier missed the Golden Knights' season opener, but given these comments by Cassidy, it is apparent that Carrier is very close to returning. Even if the Golden Knights decide to play it safely and have him miss Thursday's game, we should not have to wait too much longer to see him make his season debut.
Carrier is a very important part of the Golden Knights' bottom six. The 27-year-old is coming off of a season that saw him hit new career highs with nine goals and 20 points. With that, the physicality that he provides is essential, so once he is back, Vegas will certainly be tougher to play against. His 159 hits last season show that quite well.
