Vegas Golden Knights Place 4 Players on Waivers

The Vegas Golden Knights have placed Michael Hutchinson, Bryon Froese, Sheldon Rempal, and Braydon Pachal on waivers.

Hutchinson was expected to be an extra goalie for the Golden Knights this season, so it isn't surprising that he is being sent to the AHL, assuming he clears waivers. In nine NHL seasons, the 32-year-old goalie sports a 55-55-15 record, 2.79 GAA, and .905 SV% in 137 appearances.

Froese has not played in the NHL since the 2020-21 season, where he had a goal in six games with the Calgary Flames. He's another veteran who could be a good mentor for Vegas' AHL players to have. In 116 career NHL games, he has six goals and 17 points.

As for Rempal and Pachal, they both got into some action for the Golden Knights last season but were not expected to make the team out of camp.
