Video: Canadiens' Juraj Slafkovsky Scores First NHL Goal
During Thursday's game against the Arizona Coyotes, Montreal Canadiens rookie Juraj Slafkovsky scored his first career NHL goal with a beautiful wrist shot from the slot.
Slafkovsky created this opportunity himself by forcing a turnover with a strong defensive play. From here, the rookie showed great poise with the puck before sniping it for the goal.
This is excellent to see from Slafkovsky, as the 2022 first-overall pick has been off to a bit of a slow start to his NHL career. In his first four games, he failed to record a point, but now that has changed with this outstanding first goal. Let's see what he does for an encore from here.
