Video: Connor McDavid Records Hat Trick

Connor McDavid had an opening night to remember for the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night, as he recorded a hat trick and added an assist for good measure. 

McDavid's goals were very important as well, as the Oilers were losing to the Vancouver Canucks 3-1 before the franchise talent heated up. This sparked the club's comeback, and they went on to defeat the Canucks by a 5-3 final score.

McDavid is coming off of a career-high 123-point season, and he's already begun the 2022-23 campaign on a high note. If he continues to have games like these ones, he should have no trouble hitting the 120-point plateau for the second year in a row.
