Video: Nick Ritchie Scores Against Former Team
During Monday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Arizona Coyotes winger Nick Ritchie scored with a nice redirection. Naturally, given the fact that the Leafs are his former club, it got the attention of fans.
After struggling immensely with the Leafs last season, Nick Ritchie was traded to the Arizona Coyotes with a 2023 third-round pick or 2025 second-round pick (Arizona's choice) in exchange for Ilya Lyubushkin and Ryan Dzingel. Since then, he has been on a tear with the Coyotes, as he has scored 13 goals in 27 games - including three in three contests this year.

Ritchie, a former first-round pick, has had trouble emerging into a top-six winger, but if he keeps this scoring pace up, perhaps he will do just that as a Coyote. Nevertheless, it was another strong effort from the power forward, and we will have to see what's next in store for him.
