Wild Make Roster Move
The Minnesota Wild have sent down Mason Shaw to the AHL.
Shaw appeared in one game for the Wild this season, where he was held off the scoresheet and had an even rating. Jordan Greenway's return is the reason behind it, so Shaw will now once again be a notable contributor down in the AHL with the Iowa Wild.
Don't be surprised to see Shaw get called up to Minnesota when injuries inevitably arise during the season, however. The 23-year-old center is coming off of a season that saw him score 19 goals and record 52 points in 62 AHL games. With that, he had 106 penalty minutes, so adding that kind of physicality in the lineup every once in a while wouldn't be a bad idea for Minnesota.
