Winnipeg Jets Place Forward on Waivers
The Winnipeg Jets have placed Kevin Stenlund on waivers.
Stenlund spent this past season with the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he went scoreless in three games. This was after back-to-back 10-point campaigns in the same amount of games (32) with the Blue Jackets. Yet, he primarily spent this past season with the Cleveland Monsters, where he had eight goals and 25 points.
When the Jets signed Stenlund this offseason, it seemed that he would be in the running for a fourth-line spot on their roster. Yet, that now is not going to be the case at the start of the season. Let's see if the 6-foot-4 center clears waivers from here, but it does seem possible that another club could take a chance on the 26-year-old.
