Winnipeg Jets Sign Top Prospect
The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with one of their top prospects, as Brad Lambert has signed his three-year, entry-level contract with the club.
Lambert was just selected with the 30th overall pick of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft by the Jets and had a very impressive training camp. The 18-year-old is viewed as having a lot of potential, and his recent solid play only showed that more. Now, Lambert is set to at least begin this season with their AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose.
This ELC opens the door to the possibility of Lambert receiving a call-up at some point this season, but given his very young age, the Jets absolutely do not need to rush him. In 25 games last season with the Lahti Pelicans of the Finnish Liiga, he had four points.
