2 Boston Bruins Forwards Close to Returning
The Boston Bruins were dealt some bad news on Thursday when it was announced that Jeremy Swayman and Derek Forbort will be out week-to-week. However, on the bright side, David Krejci and Craig Smith are making progress with their injuries and could be good to for Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Even with all of their injury trouble, the Bruins have managed to put together an excellent 9-1-0 start. However, that does not mean that they won't be happy to have both Krejci and Smith available again shortly.
Krejci has been excellent this season, as he has two goals and eight points in eight games. The 36-year-old's return to Boston has provided the team with a much-needed spark, so they will be ecstatic once he is officially back on the ice. Smith, on the other hand, has a goal and three points in seven games.
