2 Key Arizona Coyotes Set to Return

According to Arizona Coyotes GM Bill Armstrong. Jakob Chyrchun and Nick Schmaltz are set to return next week. 

Chychrun has been out for the entirety of the 2022-23 season thus far, so it is huge that he is finally coming back. The 24-year-old defenseman is one of the biggest names in the rumor mill, so a move could very well be on the way now that he is finally healthy. In 47 games this past season with the Coyotes, he had seven goals and 21 points.

With Schmaltz returning, the Coyotes are getting one of their top forwards back. The 26-year-old has played in just one game this season, but now that he is good to go, it will be fun to see how he performs after his career year in 2021-22. In 63 games last year, he had 23 goals to go along with 59 points.
