Anaheim Ducks Forward Sent Down to AHL
The Anaheim Ducks have sent Glenn Gawdin back down to the San Diego Gulls.
Gawdin was called up to the Ducks on Halloween, taking Pavol Regenda's roster spot. Since then, the 25-year-old has appeared in three games with Anaheim, as he had zero points to go along with a minus-1 rating. Overall, the 6-foot-1 center did not leave the biggest impact when called upon, and now he is heading back to the Gulls as a result.
However, this is not the end of the world for Gawdin. If he impresses during his demotion back to the Gulls, he will likely receive another call-up before the season is over. In seven AHL games on the year, he has three goals and three assists.
