Buffalo Sabres Claim Forward Off Waivers
The Buffalo Sabres have claimed Tyson Jost off of waivers from the Minnesota Wild.
When Jost was placed on waivers, it seemed possible that another team would claim. After all, he is a former first-round pick who could have decent upside. However, his $2 million cap hit did not make that guarantee, but given the fact that the Sabres have a ton of cap space, they were able to bring him in with ease.
With the Sabres currently on a seven-game losing streak, it makes sense that they are taking a chance on Jost. Let's see if the change of scenery helps him succeed. In 12 games this season, the 24-year-old has three assists.
