Buffalo Sabres Make Change to Roster

The Buffalo Sabres have sent down Kale Clague to the Rochester Americans. 

Although a demotion is never a happy moment for a player, this move may be an indicator that Henri Jokiharju is ready to return. This would be big for Buffalo, as the 23-year-old is a notable part of their blue line. With that, the Sabres have several defensemen out, so getting back one of their regulars is simply a win for them.

As for Clague, this is tough news for the 24-year-old. In seven games on the year with the Sabres, he has an assist and a minus-2 rating. The Regina native will now be hoping to impress back with the Americans from here, as it could be exactly what lands him another call-up in the near future.
