Calgary Flames Defenseman Set to Return

The Calgary Flames have activated Michael Stone off of injured reserve. As a result of this, he is eligible to return for Saturday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes. 

This is good news for the Flames, as Stone has been off to a very solid start this season. In 10 games thus far, he has two goals to go along with five points and a plus-6 rating. Overall, that is not bad play at all from the depth defenseman, and he will be aiming to maintain it now that he is healthy.

With the Flames going through some struggles this season, it is good that they are getting Stone back in the lineup. Although he is not a star, he is a serviceable bottom-pairing guy when needed. Let's see how he does for Calgary from here.
