Canucks Rumors: Vancouver Head Coach on the Way Out
The Vancouver Canucks are a mess and there's no other way to put it. Management continues to contemplate major changes and it's likely going to start with axing head coach Bruce Boudreau.
Boudreau is a lame duck who has been chirped in the media by President Jim Rutherford for not having a good training camp and playing the games without enough structure and consistency. Hockey insider Elliotte Friedman shined some light on the situation in Vancouver on Saturday night and confirmed things are far from ideal for everyone involved.
The Canucks lost another game while leading by multiple goals as the Toronto Maple Leafs stormed back to win 3-2 on Saturday night. Thier latest loss drops the Canucks to 4-8-3 on the season.
Click here to watch Friedman discuss the clarity that's expected to be coming for the coaching situation in Vancouver. Doesn't sound like Boudreau will be given an extension, that's for sure.
How much of the Canucks' struggles on defence stem from the system they play?

Mentioned goal heading into next offseason is to clear big contracts for cap space - Dickinson contract was just the start.
No shock: VAN is open for business.
