Chicago Blackhawks Make Multiple Roster Moves
The Chicago Blackhawks have made an array of roster moves regarding their goaltending. Petr Mrazek has been activated, while Alex Stalock has taken his place on injured reserve. With that, Dylan Wells has been placed on waivers.
It was recently announced that Mrazek was getting closer to returning, so this development isn't surprising. This is good news for a Blackhawks team dealing with several goalie injuries, as they are now getting their starter back. In three games on the year, he has a 1-1-0 record and .873 SV%.
Stalock was having a great start to the season before his injury, so it is hard to hear that he has to go on IR. In seven games this season, he has a 3-2-1 record, .914 SV%, and 2.93 GAA.
As for Wells, he was recently signed to an NHL contract due to the Blackhawks' injuries in goal. He made his first NHL appearance following the signing, where he made 12 saves on 13 shots in 20 minutes played.
