Chicago Blackhawks Send Down Defenseman

The Chicago Blackhawks have sent Alec Regula back down to the Rockford IceHogs. 

Regula was recently called up to the Blackhawks. In four games with the NHL squad during his call-up, he had zero points to go along with a minus-3 rating. Overall, he did not take the world by storm while with the Blackhawks, but he will now be looking to get things going again back with the IceHogs. 

This demotion is not the end of the world for Regula, as he is one of the Blackhawks' top call-up options for when injuries arise. In four games this season with the IceHogs, he has two goals and a plus-1 rating. Last season with the AHL club, he also recorded a nice 26-point campaign in just 41 games.
