Chicago Blackhawks Sign Goalie
The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Dylan Wells to an NHL contract.
The Blackhawks are dealing with a plethora of injuries in goal and only Arvid Soderblom is currently healthy. Veteran netminder Alex Stalock suffered a concussion on Tuesday, so the Blackhawks needed to sign a new goaltender, and Wells is the lucky goalie to have received the call.
Wells was on an AHL contract with the Blackhawks' affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs, so it makes sense that he has now been signed by Chicago. The 24-year-old has played in three games this season with the IceHogs, where he had a 4.27 GAA and .862 SV%.
