Graphic: Oilers Evander Kane Has Wrist Sliced by Skate
Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane was in a bad place Wednesday night after he fell to the ice and had Tampa Bay Lightning forward Patrick Maroon slice his wrist with his skate.
The incident was completely unintentional and you could tell immediately it was bad. Maroon was yelling to the medics, meanwhile Kane was quick to get up and seek assistance from the training staff.
It does sound like Kane was able to get to the hospital in time and get stitched up, and should make a full recovery. Here's the play and please be warned this is quite graphic:

He has a deep cut on his wrist. He was stabilized and has gone to the hospital. Kane will have surgery on his wrist. He will be OK.
