Jets Provide Update on Logan Stanley

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Logan Stanley has missed the last handful of games after blocking a shot

against the St. Louis Blues. Now, the Jets have provided an update on the 6-foot-7 defenseman, noting that he has a slight foot fracture and will miss the next few weeks.

This isn't the best news, of course, but it is also good to hear that Stanley's foot injury isn't too severe. As a result, he shouldn't miss a major part of the season like once feared, and that's great news for both the player and team. Stanley's physical presence makes him a solid part of the Jets' defensive group, and they certainly have been missing that element without him in the lineup.

In five games this season, Stanley has zero points and an even rating. Here's to hoping that we can see him return to game action shortly from here.
