Seattle Kraken Claim Goalie Off Waivers
The Seattle Kraken have claimed Magnus Hellberg off of waivers from the Ottawa Senators.
This is not all too surprising, as the Kraken lost Hellberg through the same manner to Ottawa in the same manner. As a result, they had first priority to claim him, and they have done just that. With that, he can be assigned right to the AHL instead of being placed on the waiver wire again, due to the fact that Ottawa already lost him through waivers earlier in the year.
Hellberg will now serve as a depth goalie for the Kraken from here. In his lone appearance with the Senators this season, he made 29 saves on 31 shots for the win.
In other waiver news, Mike Reilly (BOS) and Nikita Zaitsev (OTT) have cleared waivers.
