Los Angeles Kings Make Several Roster Moves
The Los Angeles Kings have made a handful of roster moves. Brandt Clarke and Lias Andersson have been called up to their NHL roster, while Frederic Allard is heading back to the Ontario Reign.
Clarke's call-up is very notable. If the Kings dress the 19-year-old defenseman, he will play in his 10th NHL game, which means that the first year of his entry-level contract will officially begin. Thus, we will have to see if the 2021 eighth-overall pick plays. In nine games with the Kings this season, he has two assists and a minus-1 rating. In five games with the Ontario Reign, he has a goal and an assist.
Andersson, on the other hand, has been called up a few times this season but has yet to play in a game for the Kings. In 110 career NHL games, the 2017 first-round pick has seven goals and 17 points.
Allard was recently called up to the Kings, but he did not get into any game action for them during it. Now, the 24-year-old defenseman will be heading back to Ontario to be an important part of their defensive group. In five AHL games this campaign, he has an assist.
