Toronto Maple Leafs Defenseman to Miss More Time
While speaking with the media, Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe noted that T.J. Brodie is behind schedule with his recovery and that he will miss the entirety of the team's four-game road trip.
This is certainly bad news for the Maple Leafs, as they are already dealing with other injuries on their blue line, and Brodie is one of their best defensemen. Now, he will be out for at least five more games, as he of course will not be playing Monday's home game against the New York Islanders, either.
Alas, we will have to wait and see if Brodie is good to go after the Leafs' road trip. In 15 games this season, the 32-year-old has two assists and an even rating.
