Montreal Canadiens Forward Out Multiple Weeks
Jonathan Drouin is set to miss more time for the Montreal Canadiens, as he will be out for the next four to six weeks. The 27-year-old forward is continuing to deal with an injury he suffered in early November.
Drouin has been struggling a bit this season, so it is not ideal that he now has to miss time. In 12 games on the year, he has four assists to go along with a minus-4 rating.
Drouin is one of the Canadiens' most notable trading candidates this season, so him sitting out for the next month at least is not going to do him any favors with his value. Here's to hoping that he has a speedy recovery and can heat up once back on the ice.
In response to Drouin's injury, the Canadiens have called up Rem Pitlick. In seven games this season with Montreal, he has zero points and a minus-2 rating.
