Nashville Predators Sign OHL-Leading Goal-Scorer

Prospect Nolan Burke has earned himself an NHL contract, as the 19-year-old has signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Nashville Predators.

Burke's outstanding start to the season with the Sarnia Sting of the OHL is clearly the reason behind it. In 16 games thus far, he already has an excellent 15 goals to go along with 24 points. Naturally, this kind of goal-scoring has gotten the attention of NHL scouts, and now he has found a home with the Predators.

With the Predators not sporting the deepest prospect pool when it comes to forwards, it is huge that they now have Burke. We will have to wait and see how the rest of his season with the Sting goes from here.
