New Jersey Devils Defenseman Injured

New Jersey Devils defenseman John Marino is currently dealing with an upper-body injury and missed Wednesday's practice because of it. 

Marino has been a major addition to the Devils this season. The 25-year-old has been working quite well in a shutdown role due to his strong play in his own zone. With that, he has been chipping in offensively occasionally, as he has eight points in 23 games. With that, he has a rather high plus-15 rating.

The Devils will be hoping that Marino does not have to miss any game time from here. Thankfully, New Jersey does not play until Saturday (Dec. 3), so perhaps there's a chance that he ends up playing. We will have to wait and see what happens on that front.
