Kane is expected to be moved at some point this season and if the Kings are in a playoff spot closer to the trade deadline, LA is a certainly a destination he'd waive his no-movement clause for. So far this season, the Blackhawks legend has recorded three goals and 11 points in 14 games. Not necessarily the best start of his career, but we've seen over the course of his career what type of production Kane can provide, including 132 points in 136 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The Kings have a slew of young talent, including several right-handed defensemen. It's likely the Blackhawks will ask for rookie Brandt Clarke in the deal, however it's going to be awfully tough for the Kings to part with Clarke who has shown some serious upside already this season.
Other Kings youngsters who may be included in this potential deal could be Quinton Byfield, Jordan Spence and Helge Grans. Keep an eye on these two teams, the Blackhawks are sellers and the Kings have quickly become buyers with a ton of assets to move.
