NHL Rumors: Boston Bruins Defenseman Wants Trade
According to Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal, Boston Bruins defenseman Mike Reilly is hoping to be traded. Divver also noted that he has "no idea whether there is something in the works or not," so it is unclear if Reilly will find a new home shortly.
Mike Reilly not playing tonight. I don't expect to see him Sunday either. Word is he's hoping for a trade. No idea whether there is something in the works or not

Reilly was placed on waivers for the second time this season earlier this week due to the return of Charlie McAvoy. Unfortunately, he's the victim of the Bruins' salary cap trouble and is plenty good enough to play at the NHL level. However, his $3 million salary and the Bruins' depth on the left side made him the most obvious player to send down.
Overall, it is not too surprising that Reilly wants a trade out of Boston. We will have to wait and see if something can come to fruition from here, but it's more likely than not that the Bruins will have to add a sweetener to any potential move.
