NHL Rumors: Florida Panthers Defenseman Becoming Trade Candidate

The Florida Panthers desperately need to clear out salary before they can activate Anthony Duclair off injured reserve. One player who now is starting to enter the rumor mill because of this is Radko Gudas.

Gudas will certainly get attention if officially made available by the Panthers, as the 6-foot defenseman plays an immensely heavy game. Playoff teams are always looking for more toughness, and there's no question that Gudas provides a lot of that. In 77 games last season, he had a whopping 355 hits. This campaign, he already has 82 hits in just 21 games.

Teams looking for some help on their right side should be calling the Panthers about Gudas. We will have to wait and see where the 32-year-old defenseman ends up going from here.
