The Philadelphia Flyers have fallen back down to Earth after a strong start to the 2022-23 season. As a result, there is no question that they will be sellers at the deadline. One player who we should pay attention to on the trade market because of this is Patrick Brown.

Brown is a pending UFA who carries an easily affordable $750,000, so he will be an appealing target for teams in need of some forward depth before the playoffs. In six games this season with the Flyers, he has a goal to go along with a minus-1 rating. Although his offensive numbers have been low, his physical play has been quite apparent, as he has 17 hits on the year already. Therefore, teams looking for some grit could consider the prospect of adding him.
