NHL Rumors: LA Kings Trade on the Way

The Los Angeles Kings are a team to watch as they are expected to make a trade in the coming weeks. The Kings, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, could be looking for a left-handed defenseman to complement their group.

Friedman mentioned the Kings on the latest episode of 32 Thoughts, and how LA has a surplus of right-handed defenseman and will eventually be making a move for some more balance on the left side.

The Kings currently have eight defensemen on their NHL roster and have some decisions to make as their team gets healthy. Three of their D-Men who are most likely to be moved include Sean Walker, Matt Roy and Michael Anderson.

LA has some good young prospects who are likely in play as well when it comes to the trade market. They also have two third-round picks in the upcoming draft and could be interested in moving out some of their draft capital.
