NHL Rumors: Nashville Predators Shopping Defenseman
According to Nick Kypreos, the Nashville Predators are looking to move a defenseman, and general manager David Poile would be willing to trade Dante Fabbro for the right offer.
Fabbro was the Predators' first-round pick in 2016 and is viewed as having a lot of potential. Many envision him as being a top-four defenseman while playing at his best, but this season has been a bit quiet for him. After putting together a 24-point campaign in 66 games last season for Nashville, he has just four assists in 19 games so far in 2022-23.
The Predators have an abundance of depth on defense, so we very well could see them move on from Fabbro. We will have to wait and see if they get an offer worth pursuing from here. Given the fact that Fabbro is a six-foot, right-shot defenseman, interest will surely be there.
