NHL Rumors: Vancouver Canucks Forward Likely on the Move
According to Rob Simpson, Tanner Pearson is the Vancouver Canuck who is most likely to be traded right now.
Although players like Bo Horvat, Conor Garland, and Tyler Myers are just a few names who have come up in the rumor mill, Pearson is the most obvious trading candidate. The Canucks already shopped Pearson this offseason, but a move did not come to fruition. Vancouver has made it known that they are also hoping to trade out some salary, and Pearson's $3.75 million cap hit until the end of the 2023-24 season would be perfect to rid of.
However, a team would need to be confident that Pearson can bounce back for any chance of a move happening. With that, he is out for several weeks after undergoing hand surgery, so we may need to wait a bit before a move actually happens. Either way, remember this once we get close to the deadline.
